Terms of Use and Purchase Policy

These terms explain how ControlaDocs works, what each plan includes, how billing works and what your rights are as a customer. By subscribing to a plan or starting the free trial, you confirm that you have read and accepted these conditions.

ControlaDocs is a service provided by George Braga Sena (CPF 721.389.982-15, Brazilian tax ID).

The service and what is included

ControlaDocs is an online system to register your company's documents, track expiration dates, record regularizations, and receive alerts before deadlines.

ControlaDocs is sold in three tiers (Essential, Professional and Business), billed monthly, every six months or yearly. The control tools are the same in all of them: records, expiration dates, email alerts, renewals with proof and reports. What changes between them are the usage limits (companies/CNPJs, documents and file storage), the price of each additional company and the AI assistant, which is not part of every plan. The limits of each plan are listed in the "Plans, prices and billing" section.

Your account is created with the email entered in the purchase summary, after Mercado Pago confirms the payment (for the free trial, right away). You receive a welcome email to set your password.

Plans, prices, and billing

Current prices and limits:

Monthly plans: a recurring subscription through Mercado Pago. You register your card once and the amount is charged automatically every month until you cancel.

Six-month and yearly plans: a one-time payment through Mercado Pago that covers 6 or 12 months of access. There is no automatic renewal and no new charges without your action.

For one-time payments, you can pay in full or in card installments. The maximum number of installments and the amount of each option are shown on the Mercado Pago payment page before you confirm; depending on the installment plan you choose, installments may include interest.

Additional companies (CNPJs): on plans that accept them, each company beyond the included ones has the price shown above and in the purchase summary. On a monthly subscription, adding or removing one changes the amount of the next charges. On six-month and yearly plans, a company added during the period is charged pro rata until it ends and is included in the renewal.

When you reach a plan limit, the system keeps working normally, but it does not accept new records of that kind until you remove items, add companies or change plans.

AI assistant: answers questions about using the system and about your company documents, within the plan's monthly quota. Questions are processed by artificial intelligence providers, as described in the Privacy Policy. Answers are for guidance: check important information on the system screens.

Promotional price: when the sales page shows a crossed-out price, the promotional amount applies under the conditions stated there (for a number of customers or until a date). If you subscribe at the promotional price, you keep that price on renewals for the price-lock period stated at purchase; after that, the current price applies.

Prices may change for new subscriptions. On the monthly plan, any change to your subscription amount is announced by email at least 30 days in advance, and you can cancel before the new amount applies.

Prices are in Brazilian reais (BRL). The final amount and payment terms are shown on the Mercado Pago page before you confirm.

Free trial

The free trial is offered once per email, for the period stated on the sales page, with no charge and no card required. During the trial, the features and limits of the chosen plan apply.

When the trial ends, access is suspended until you subscribe to a plan. Your records are kept and become available again once you subscribe.

Term, renewal, and suspension

Access is valid for the period paid. Each new payment adds the plan's months to the current period.

Before the expiration date, we send reminder emails with links to renew.

After expiration there is a grace period. If the plan is not renewed by the end of it, access is suspended until the renewal is paid. Your data is kept and becomes available again upon renewal.

While access is suspended, expiration alert emails stop and you cannot add or renew documents.

Cancellation

Monthly plans: you can cancel automatic renewal at any time in the system itself, under "My subscription" (with a protocol emailed right away), in the Mercado Pago app or website ("Subscriptions" section) or through our support. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid, and no new charge is made after that.

Six-month and yearly plans: since they are one-time payments with no automatic renewal, there is nothing to cancel. Access ends at the end of the contracted period if you do not renew.

Refunds and right of withdrawal

You can withdraw from the purchase within 7 days of the purchase date (art. 49 of Brazil's Consumer Protection Code) and get a full refund of the amount paid, to the same payment method. The request can be made in the system itself, under "My subscription", with confirmation and protocol emailed right away, or through our support.

A credit card refund may take up to two statements to appear, depending on your card issuer.

After that period, the period already paid is not refunded, except in the event of a service failure attributable to us that prevents use of the system.

How the charge appears on your statement

On your card statement, the charge appears as CONTROLADOCS.

If you do not recognize a charge, contact our support team before disputing it with your bank: we will look into it and resolve it with you.

Payment security

Payments are processed by Mercado Pago. Card details are entered directly in Mercado Pago's environment: ControlaDocs never sees or stores your card number.

We receive from Mercado Pago only the information needed to activate and manage your access: name, email, amount, payment status and, on the Monthly plan, subscription status.

Customer responsibilities and limitations

You are responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of the data entered in the system (documents, dates, responsible people, and emails) and for keeping your password safe.

ControlaDocs is a support tool for tracking document deadlines. Alerts depend on correct data and on email delivery, and the system does not replace legal or accounting advice.

Compliance with legal obligations and renewal of documents with the agencies remain your company's responsibility.
